How do compression pneumatic fittings work?
The last type, the compression fitting provides for the possibility of being used with different types of tubes, either with metal (copper, aluminum or other) where the tube is inserted into a special cone (single or double) and then into the body. The same fitting can also be used with plastic tubing with a special insert that stiffens the final part of the tube itself.
The torque force of the nut will deform the cone with the tube, obtaining the tightness.
Generally, the performance in terms of temperature, pressure, etc. depends on the tube used as there are no gaskets inside.
What are the benefits of Series 1000 compression push-on pneumatic fittings?
Series 1000 universal nickel plated brass compression fittings are suitable with plastic tubes as well as with copper, brass, steel or aluminum tubes.
Can be used within pneumatic, oil-pressure and low-pressure hydraulic circuits.
Key Benefits are:
• Durability of product and equipment
• Approved Compression technology
• Up to 60 bar
The fitting’s seats, noses and nuts comply with the DIN 3870-3861 standards.
